How CBC torrented a TV show
Posted on March 27th, 2008 at 5:19 amHere’s a great, insider account of the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation’s internal process leading up to their decision to put a high-quality torrent of the show Canada’s Next Great Prime Minister online:
Okay now what is wrong with the article? First the ISP’s are “avoiding” P2P and then the Goverment Television Network puts out a hugely popular televison show via torrent. Now is this just me or is this a case of a arm of the goverment approving a concept and then the ISP’s pulling a bonehead move to increase their profits? Baldy
