Canada Day

Canada Day formerly Dominion Day, is Canada’s national day, a federal statutory holiday, celebrated on July 1 annually by all Canadians. Canada Day observances take place not only throughout the nation, but also internationally.

Frequently referred to as “Canada’s birthday”, particularly in the popular press,[1][2][3] the occasion marks the joining of the British colonies of Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, and the Province of Canada into a federation of four provinces (the Province of Canada being divided, in the process, into Ontario and Quebec) on July 1, 1867.

I guess while hanging around up north I really learned something. Ha and they say it is imposssible to teach a old dog new tricks. Any way Happy Birthday Canada
